Delphi Challenges - Summary Post on 3DBuzz

For those of you not quite in the loop, Liz Riley [aka Liz The Brit] has been running Code Challenges for Delphi enthusiasts over on Delphi General - 3D Buzz for quite some time now.  Today she has summarized the challenges to-date in a single post Delphi Challenges - Summary Post on 3D Buzz . For those who have been participating this will make finding the ones you missed much easier. For the rest of you it will make it easier to find all the challenges you've missed as you attempt to catch up and catch up you should.

Liz has been doing a fantastic job over there responding to posts, running the challenges and welcoming newcomers to Delphi in a manner we all need to take a lesson from. She's been so busy over there at 3DBuzz that she has actually been reported as missing in b.p.d.non-technical.
BTW, Q [if you read this] ... I found her :)

Newbie to Delphi? Slip on over to Delphi General - 3D Buzz have a look at the demos, write some code and take on a challenge or two. Got a question? Delphi General - 3D Buzz is an excellent place to look for an answer. There's a great gang over there [percent20, benwatt, Jhawk, Blueaura, DaBomB, LizRiley, VelariaKnight, just to name a few]  ... stop by.

If you are an existing Delphi enthusiast that would like to sharpen their skill [ever build a MUCK client in a console app ??] ... pop over and see if there's a challenge in there that'll keep busy for a couple of days.

I'll be adding a permanent link to these challenges in the side-bar at the lower right ... just in case you can't find this post again.

  1. Agreed, the 3D forums are a great place to get and share some information.

They created another Delphi series with 5 videos. You can download the first two if you have the free membership. You need to be a Member Sponsor to see the rest.

  2. Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the comments and pointing out the new videos. Hadn't heard of them yet [which is a bit odd, I guess], looking forward to having a look at the two I can get my hands on.
